The Halton Moor Hoard

The Halton Moor Hoard consists of a finely decorated late 8th or 9th century Carolingian cup, a plaited silver neck-ring of typical Viking style, 860 silver coins and two gold stamped pendants. One of these pendants is in the Danish National Museum.
The hoard dates to c. 1025-30 AD.
