The Stora Ramsjö Runestone (U 1175)

The Stora Ramsjö Runestone is a nonsense runestone – i.e. it does not contain any meaningful runes, only rune-like symbols.

The stone has the same imagery as the Drävle Runestone (U1163) – it depicts Sigurd thrusting his sword through the serpent, and the dwarf Andvari, and the Valkyrie Sigrdrífa giving Sigurd a drinking horn. There is also a stylised Christian cross.
